"This a property in decline but with a great staff. Passable continental breakfast & good room service. However broken tiles on floors, less than adequate water pressure or hot water temp.. Long term Gov. subsidized guests, recipients of a area home revitalization program. It wasn't uncommon to encounter toddlers in undress running around the halls. After a 3& half week stay I received a call from the owner while at work (I'm a contract tradesman) screaming on the phone he informed me that I must vacate the motel. Stating that he would call my boss, 911 and the Boutte La. police. Obviously he had over booked his rooms for Mardi Gras likely at a higher rate. A misunderstanding I contacted law enforcement and with a deputy in tow we talked with the employee at the desk and was told that owner had left as soon as he got off the phone with me. I retrieved my property. . While I occasionally work in this area I will not use this motel again."

"This place is a absolute joke ! We booked 2 rooms 8 months ago and arrived and they had neither of the rooms we actually booked. One was a handicap accessible for my father in law who has limited mobility. We had printed copy showing we booked handicap room they claimed we didn't book one.The other was to be king room the "upgraded" us to two queens . The whole situation was ridiculous and we ended up scrambling last minute to get an handicap accessible room"

"The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Love that this was a pet friendly hotel so my fur baby was able to travel with us this time. The dog area and shaded gazebo area was a perfect place to relax with our dog. We stayed 2 weeks total and had a great stay."

"After a full day of driving, it was nice to check in to a quiet place with clean rooms. I didn't want to be too close to the city so this was a good option that felt safe and plenty of parking. There are a decent amount of places to eat down the road but most close at 8 so be mindful of that. Julie at the front was nice and took care of me and my family. This place is also pet friendly which was also what saved my family for the night! We went to the pool and it was pretty clean and warm which was nice after a long day. Free continental breakfast is nice for what it is (cereal, waffles, eggs). Definitely great value compared to other options with half the amenities."
