"AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COST I BELIEVE ALL THE GOOD REVIEWS ARE FAKE. IF THE GUY THAT HELPED MY MOM YESTERDAY IS AN EMPLOYEE HE SHOULD NOT BE IN THE HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY AND IF HES THE OWNER SHAME ON YOU- YOU SHOULD NOT OWN A HOTEL OR BE IN THE HOSPITALITY BUSINESS! I am deeply disappointed by the unprofessional conduct of the front desk clerk at the Best Western hotel yesterday around 5 to 6 o'clock. The story behind what happened is that my parents, returning from Florida with a group of friends on their motorcycles, encountered rain and attempted to ride it out until it became too cold. Unfortunately, my dad fell ill, with a fever of 103, and they decided to pull over to this hotel to seek warmth for the night. Upon arrival, they discovered that my mom's room had no heating, and my dad was shivering from the cold. She promptly went down to the front desk to inform the clerk about the issue and to request assistance. However, despite the urgency of the situation, the clerk claimed to be busy, even though there was nobody else around. When my mom explained that her husband was sick and freezing, the clerk rudely suggested that they leave and offered a refund. This response was not only insensitive but also impractical, as all nearby hotels were fully booked, leaving them with no alternative accommodation. It's distressing to see such disregard for guests' well-being, especially in a situation where urgent assistance was needed. I hope that the management of the Best Western hotel takes this feedback seriously and takes steps to ensure that similar incidents do not occur in the future."
"My room was very comfortable. I had a king suite. It was quiet, no road noise and no neighbor noise either. The staff was friendly and helpful."
"The hotel was within walking distance of Wholly Ground, a cafe/venue rental place where I attended a memorial service. Larger than expected room, very clean, and comfortable bed. One of the bedside lamps didn’t work - pretty minor issue. Overall, price-to-value was excellent."
"Very clean rooms. The whole place is very clean and not noisy at all. The desk clerk was super friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!"
