"These stores remind me of Air Conditioned Flea Markets. There are Gems in the Rough if you’re willing to dig through the mass of items. The stores usually contain enough items to fill a building twice their size. Ok no big deal. The money that they probably save from the smaller buildings perhaps passes down to the consumer. This is probably what gives Family Dollar the edge. Not every item is the best price you can fine. But about 50% of them are. The employees are usually busy bees. A little short handed but they’re Troopers. They deal with the heavy workload to the best of their abilities. With a friendly disposition. I applaud them."

"The pentecostal (im assuming) cashier working this morning was really rude. I walked up to the cash register and she walked away into the store. I stood there for 5 minutes waiting for her to come back before my friend went to look for her. She made snarky comments about things ringing up on sale when they shouldn't be and was too worried about talking to her friends that had just walked in to give me my receipt or hand me my bags, so I reached over and grabbed my bags and receipt myself. Didn't get a "thank you" or a "have a good day." I guess my tattoos didn't make me worthy to her. I understand it's hard to find people to work but if she can't be decent to people, she doesn't belong in customer service."

"I found an item I was looking for, it scanned for a penny. The store manager told me she wasn't going to sell it to me for that price. I told her she had to, that's what it scanned for. She replied, that she didn't have to give it to me for that price, that she was the store manager, and she decides whether or not she wants to sell it to me. That's not right. I tried calling customer service, but to no availability. They don't have an email to send something to. So I have resulted to this. Terrible service."

"I won't be going back in this store unless it is a dire emergency. The store clerks are very loud and rude. One of them greeted me when I walked in and when she didn't get a response from me( I wasn't feeling well) she said it again very loud with an attitude! I wasn't aware it was supposed to be a back and forth chat session when a store employee greets you. Typically a greeting is just that. "Welcome to family dollar, Walmart, CVS, whatever. Not how are you today? What's up? I wasn't doing good and really did not want to talk!! Then the clerks continued to talk loudly to either other about personal things. A car outside dropped someone off and then peeled out with an engine that sounded like a race car at the raceway! The dropped off guy came in talking loudly to the clerks saying "that's my boy!" And " I tried to give him some adderall". Clerks were laughing and acting like they were at a local club! I also had my granddaughter with me. Just a really inappropriate way to run a business. They should call that store the "Ghetto Dollar " not the Family Dollar!!"
