"What a terrific little grocery store. I frequently travel back and forth between Galveston and Louisiana. I almost always stop here. They have a great little deli, clean bathrooms, and deal throughout the store. Last time I got 2 2 liter bottles of cherry sprite for $3. Way cheaper than a gas station. I also picked up some of their fried chicken. The people are super friendly and the locals are also nice. One such local gave me a thumbs up and rolled down his window and said, "good job" as I was collecting a cart to take it into the store with me. I worked at a grocery store like this in Shelley Idaho way back in 1986; so I guess this establishment evokes a lot of nostalgia. At least now the pay isn't $3.35 an hour like it was back then. Anyway, this is a great little place. Sign up for the card and get even more discounts."
