Holiday Inn Express & Suites Raceland - Highway 90, an IHG Hotel

"Rooms are nice, unfortunately I was given a room that was occupied. The second room was empty and they gave me a upgrade for the mistake. I didn't get down to breakfast until 8:00 am. No coffee and no hot food and of course the pancake maker didn't work so all that was available was cereal. Not really what you expect."

"We arrived late in the eve on December 23rd. The front desk representative was welcoming and cheerful, making us comfortable after a long trip. The morning breakfast had a lot of choices for everyone’s needs and the area was clean and happy. You can tell that staff are happy and like what they do. They were all kind and full of great hospitality."

"Newly remodeled room. Hotel renovations are currently under way. Beautiful room, new furniture. Very disappointing. So close to having it perfect. They even have cookies at check-in. But with a hotel room, comfortable bed matters more than pretty furniture and free cookies."

"Very nice hotel located in the small sleepy town of Raceland LA. Breakfast was good and the hotel staff were nice. Not too much going on in Raceland but Houma and Thibodaux which are slightly larger cities are about 20 minutes away..only reason they didn't get five stars is because of the rate being slightly higher...and one more thing if you try to book through their reservations national #...they will charge much more money than booking straight to the hotel front desk.....seriously"

"We stayed here to break up our drive to Grand Isle and I’m so glad we did! I typically don’t stay in hotels because I have high standards when it comes to cleanliness. The reviews for the hotel were so good that I decided to give it a try. The first impression started in the lobby. It was so clean and the front desk was very hospitable. Our room was on the first floor and looked brand new. Everything was clean and spacious. The next morning, we went down to get complimentary breakfast and we’re very pleased. Some of the best biscuits I’ve had! And the sweet lady at the front told us to bring the rest with us because breakfast was almost over. As we were getting ready to leave I realized I forgot my toothbrush but that wasn’t a problem because the front desk had a complimentary one. Whether you’re looking for a place to stay and let your kids swim or just for a place to rest your head, Holiday Express IHG is the one to choose."
