Hampton Inn El Dorado

"Housecleaning staff is friendly. Hotels rooms are not great for the prices and the towels are hard: lighting in rooms is minimal with not enough lighting. Bathrooms shower is nice with nice water pressure. Ice machines were out of order on the 2nd and 3rd floor. Booking site have me the wrong room and the desk attendant didn’t put us in another room room even though they had plenty available. Will no longer be staying at the Hampton"

"One of nice and clean Hampton Inn while I’m traveling this year. Workers are always welcome and very nice women working at the breakfast cafe, she always ask everyone to make sure all have good food. I can see all the workers are working hard every morning to clean the hotel. It’s hard to see nice and clean hotel these days even if we spend so much money to stay. I really enjoyed staying this hotel!"

"I wouldn't advise anyone to stay here because they stole money from my card and didn't return it! Said they charged me a no show fee when I told the lady it was to far from me a billion dollar operation and you can't give me my 128.42 back because your employee messed up! If you don't plan on staying there don't call them they will rip you off it's sad cause me and my family was just looking for somewhere to stay for the night cause we had no power due to the storm and this is how you get treated! No sympathy or nothing no remorse for the customer no satisfaction and then they don't explain to you about all these so called rules remind you I never checked in but I don't recommend spending your money with them!"

"The staff were very helpful. In particular Canyon when we checked in. He made dining suggestions and gave good directions for out of towners. The room was very clean and the bed slept well. Downtown El Dorado is a must visit."

"This place was clean and comfy but just doesn't live up to the normal standard of a Hampton Inn hotel. Not one special thing but many small ones. No pen, paper or note pad, or bible in the rooms. Now when I went to the front desk and asked for some paper, they gladly gave me some and asked if I needed a pen also. I wasn't acknowledged as a Hilton Diamond member and given the usual snacks and bottles of water. I don't really care about that, but it just speaks to the details. The door to the bathroom in the room was a big heavy sliding barn door type which doubles as the closet door also. No way to lock it either. So either the closet was open or the bathroom. TV worked well and plenty of plug ins for stuff. Exercise room was closed. Didn't ever see a business center. Breakfast was typical fare, but the lady working it was very nice and especially helpful. I used Honors points for my 2 days stay, but if I'd have paid $125 a night, I wouldn't have looked at it as a place I'd choose again .."
