"Great hotel and nice rooms. We had a non smokers, handicap room. It had a huge bathroom, a stove top, large refrigerator, kitchen sink, and a king-size bed. The continental breakfast had egg shaped like a disk, the sausage was overcooked, the biscuits are good, the Texas waffles were delicious, they had cinnamon rolls, cereal, and orange juice. The breakfast area was very clean and so were the rooms. The hotel staff at the front desk were very nice and helpful. Great prices on the rooms"

"My family was displaced due to the recent storms in East Texas. Booked a room online at this hotel. All other hotels in the surrounding area showed unavailable due to not having power, but this one showed it was available, and had active bookings. I reserved the room, and just to be sure I called the hotel and was told that they did indeed have power. we made the 90 minute drive, only to find a sign on the door stating that they were closed due to not having electricity. A maintenance man on site said they had just lost power, which turned out to be a blatant lie, as we found out that this area had been without electricity since the previous day when the storms hit. I get that the online booking site hadn't been notified of the situation, but the person I spoke with on the phone damn well knew! I could have booked a hotel in another city a bit further away if they had told me the truth, but by this time everything else was sold out. This isn't just bad customer service, this is the absolute worst!"

"The rating is based on it being a Super 8. Did I get what I expect and want for the price? Yes, I got a good night's sleep on a comfy bed. The room had a microwave, a mini fridge (no freezer), and the other amenities. Checked in through a window, since we arrived late. Checked out at the outside window as well, since we also left early. They key for me was a cool room and comfy bed. All I needed, and they delivered."

"Locks on the door didn't work, and the door latch was also broken. Questionable stains on the bed, and their was dried blood in the shower... and don't even get me started about the hair from previous tenants in the corners of the shower. Clearly they don't clean this place, and it shows. Additionally when I ask for a refund after deciding to drive through the night to my final destination because there was no way I was going to stay here after seeing the state the room was in, the woman at the front desk refused to refund me. The lack proper cleaning and then refusing to refund customers is a scam and these people don't deserve your business. My line of work requires me to stay in many places that don't have a lot of hotel options, much less nice options, but this place was atrocious and should be avoided. I will be contacting the county health department as well to report the lack of cleaning, and the dried blood in the shower."
