"When they remodeled this place, they did a fantastic job. While I do miss the outdoor setting, (there are still outdoor tables) the way they expanded the bar is great. The menu is a lot bigger than it used to be also. The food was delicious. Everything we had was cooked to perfection. If you haven’t been here since the remodel, please do yourself a favor and rediscover one of Slidell’s most fun hangout, without ever having to hit the Mississippi coast."

"Food Quality: Quality of food was good. Seafood gumbo tasted great and I especially enjoyed the tiger juice. Service: Wait staff was attentive and friendly. Price vs. Portions: Portions were a bit lacking for the cost. Atmosphere: Comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Additionally, the sound system showcased a well-balanced audio experience, enhancing the overall atmosphere of the restaurant. The music selection was diverse and well-curated."

"Royal Red Shrimp were cooked deliciously. Unfortunately they served with margarine, not butter. The menu says drawn butter and they use margarine as a cost-cutting technique. We did ask for a drawn butter and at least got some melted butter. What a difference it makes with real butter."
