Cypress Bend Resort

"This is a complete waste of a beautiful resort. The rooms were not cleaned a single time in the days I was here. I had to go to the housekeeping room, which thank God was near mine, to get towels, coffee, etc. We had to find the cooks to make breakfast each day. The breakfast buffet was empty and no effort was made to refill it. The weeds in the once beautiful flower beds were a foot tall. There is no wifi in the rooms and the one in the lobby is abysmal. The only bright spots in this otherwise disappointing weekend was a great round of golf and the waitress, Raven, in the restaurant. I have been here many times before and enjoyed it but this is the last time. I will discourage anyone from staying here."

"Due to the fact that there are no other nice hotels in the area this was our only choice 3 years ago we needed a handicap room. I made reservations for a funeral and when we got there they did not having any working. We were out in a room with a large bath tub. They did not notify us of this problem. 2 years ago we made reservations weeks in advance. We needed a roll in handicapped shower. They said that those rooms were not functional. They said she could go down the hall to use the shower in the other room. My mom was 84 years old That's was not an option. We drove 30 miles in the pouring rain to natchitoches, LA to get a room. Which brings us to now. Confirmed roll in shower when reservations were made, them at check in double confirmed a roll in shower. NO ROLL IN SHOWER!"

"Memorable Family Getaway at Cypress Bend Resort Over the two nights right after Christmas, my family and I had an unforgettable stay at Cypress Bend Resort. The golf resort offered a perfect blend of scenic beauty and outdoor activities. As an amateur photographer, I was captivated by the stunning views that surrounded us. The sunset at Toledo Lake painted the sky with vibrant hues, creating a picturesque scene. Witnessing the sunrise filtering through the hilly woods along the misty creek was nothing short of spectacular. The resort's hiking trail, with its hilly terrain and winding paths, was a delightful addition to my dogs. will return. Jane Chen"

"Came with a group of 8 friends for a golf weekend and had a great time! The golf course is in spectacular shape and recent renovations were superior. We stayed in the golf villas, which could use some updates, but were clean and accommodated use perfectly with walking distance to the course and main resort area. Good breakfast buffet and nice bar area for drinks. Overall a great time and absolutely beautiful spot on the lake. With some room updates this would be a perfect place to enjoy a vacation."

"Room were comfortable and beds luxurious, hallways hot & steamy without a/c, walls were thin allowing me to fall asleep to our neighbor's rhythmic snores, staff welcoming and friendly. Plethora of amenities we couldn't use, very pricey. Breakfast was not included but was well prepared. Overall, we paid a very high price to sleep. For a protracted stay, it would be perfect as long as you have deep pockets."
