Tony's BBQ & Steakhouse 3375 Calder Avenue, Beaumont, TX 77706

"Truly this is a golden gem in the Golden Triangle. I'm especially fond of their Rib plate. My friend I go with usually has the 3 meat platter. Their food is so good and the prices so economical that when I start thinking about bar-b-queing at home I just can't justify it because Tony's really is better than I can make. I looked at my buddy while taking a bite of rib and said, "it's like candy". He smiled and said,"yes it is". I been to both the Calder and the new locations. Given a choice I prefer the Calder location over the new one in Beaumont. Maybe because I've been going there for so long. The food is amazing at both, but I kind of get that recognition of familiarity frome having gone to the Calder location for so long."

"Had the brisket plate and the brisket was outrages bro! Nicely smoked with no hint of the excelerent that was used to start the cooking process. Fat was trimmed off,which is a big plus for me, and the meat was juicy but not to soft. Burnt ends with a nice portion that came with a great price! Homemade sides to go with!"

"Food was great. Customer service? Worst I've ever experienced. From the get go they were impatient and rude. I called to make a large order over the phone four days in advance and the entire time the man I spoke with was sighing and not helpful at all. They didn't have a catering menu online and when I tried to ask questions I was shut down and received a horrible attitude. When it came to the day of the delivery, they were awful to my staff. I have worked in customer service my whole life. I'm aware how annoying customers can be, but this treatment was completely unprompted. As good as the food was, I will never be ordering from there again."
