"If I could give them a minus 10 I would. I’ve enjoyed living in my home for the past 8 years as a homeowner but recently we were broken into/robbed. As parents you do your best to assure your children they are safe at home but when something like this happens the last thing you expect is to be made to feel like you’re in the wrong for being robbed. Sonya white from the claims location in Baton Rouge made me feel just that way! I understand she has a job to do but after finding out I had a deadline to turn paperwork in I tried communicating with Jeremy Antly from the same location to ensure the deadline wouldn’t pass without me turning in the paperwork. After my attempt to contact him went unanswered I asked if I could have someone else let me know. It was Sonya who accepted. This lady kept over talking. She seemed sarcastic and very rude. She’d say things like WE WONT PAY FOR THINGS IF THEY ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE POLICE REPORT. JUST OUT OF THE BLUE. As if I was not aware of that. Still to this day I haven’t had that question answered after making multiple attempts for someone to reach out to me. Let me make something very clear we can careless about money. You can say we are blessed. We are not sitting around just waiting on the bus to run or the train to come or the mail to run in the words of Dr. Seuss. A reply or response would be nice. But to sit there Jeremy AntIy and continue to ignore my questions and emails is wrong! We are in no rush for anything other than to make sure we have turned in everything needed. I do not appreciate you Sonya White talking to me as if we were. You’d think your agency would be there in a time of need but my opinion they seem to have a problem with communication. We are busy working parents and make a good living. We have no time for this type of unprofessional environment. They should be investigated and really ashamed for handling this case as they have. It’s a shame because the local branch in Monroe la are full of nice respectful courteous professionals and this claims dept really has be wanting to switch to an agency that will treat their customers with dignity"

"I had a horrible experience with Shelter. The person assigned to me was extremely difficult to get in touch with and never did what they said they were going to do as far as sending information or request for information. I literally had to fight to get my issues resolved, which is frustrating further considering having to deal with insurance after an accident is already frustrating enough. The level of incompetence and lazy unorganized workmanship given to me by your company is unacceptable. What am I paying you so much money for? It's bad enough I legally have to pay for insurance or I'll get changed money by the gov. But, Shelter makes sure that your payments go straight to making sure that your time, energy, and patience are all wasted by a company that doesn't care about you or your property. Unbelievable."
