"Nightmare! Worst home improvement project we have ever undertaken. We started the project January '21. The initial contact was good but went downhill quickly. After 8 weeks we received confirmation materials had arrived and the work started in March. 3 days into the install we discovered the shower had been improperly measured and was to narrow. The shower had been to be reordered. 6 weeks later the new material came in and was installed. Just about a year after install, the shower pan was soft and we had buckling floor from the water coming from under the pan. We alerted Bath Planet and they sent the same guy who installed it to do an inspection. To his credit he was honest. He admitted to not putting concrete back into the area of slab that had to be removed for the drain. It was decided to remove the shower and repair the concrete. When the pan was removed he realized he had not tightened the coupling on the drain. When removing the wallboard one piece was broken and had to be ordered to replace it. Another almost 6 weeks without a shower again. Tonight we have water coming from under the pan again. This was not an inexpensive project for us. Almost $11,000.00! I messaged the main Bath Planet office tonight. Hopefully they can make this right."
