"Never will I use this place again. I’ve called three times during operating hours and no one answers. When I finally reached someone about my shoes that they have had for three weeks, I was told they would call me back. A week goes by and no call back. I called again and I was told they can’t fix them. Today, I went to this location to get my shoes and there is a note on the door stating they are closed today. I called before I went to up there, no answer and no message came on but that’s not unusual for this place. I checked their website and it states they are open. I will have to find another day that I can get over here during their very limited operating hours. Way too much time and effort put into this place. Never again!"

"I was always a loyal Militello's customer and I was hoping they wouldn't change after changing hands, but I've been very disappointed the last couple of times I've been there. In the spring I took a pair of good quality leather boots for repair. They needed to be resoled. First, they said it would take well over a week to repair them and they gave me a pickup date. I returned on that date and they hadn't even started on them. They finally finished them and I put the boots away in my closet since it was past the end of the cool weather. Once it started getting cool again in the fall, I took them out and wore them only a few times before one of the soles started coming loose. Apparently, they hadn't sewn the sole on, they had just glued it on and the glue wasn't holding. I took them back and instead of apologizing for a repair that hadn't held, they started blaming it on the unusually hot summer we've had. I explained to them that my house never gets above 76º inside, but she said it didn't matter, it was the heat. I understand that mistakes happen, but own up to them instead of coming up with ridiculous excuses. Even though the official name of the business has changed, they still have the Militello's name above the entrance and I think that's a shame. They're not up to the Militello standards. I think I'll be looking around to see if there's anywhere else I can take my boots and shoes in the future."

"I have had whole soles, half soles, heels, sole protectors, and taps done. They were all immaculately done. Mr Clyde is an artisan. He won't talk you into work that you don't need. They treat me like family, and I have always enjoyed doing business with them. I highly recommend them."

"Militello's does an excellent job. I have been bringing my shoes to them for years and have always been happy with the service. I now live in New Orleans but still drop my shoes off here because there is no better cobbler in the area."
