"They offer free STD testing upstairs. This is a vital resource for the community! The staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. Getting tested is never a fun experience, but I felt very safe and comfortable here. Thank you!"
"Super great finds at low prices. Juniper is so nice and helpful, they went above and beyond to help me set up a delivery for furniture i bought from here. Love love love this place!!"
"I was so excited to see Out of the Closet! I saw the adds, looked up the place and headed on down. Just by looking at the place from the outside it was clean and inviting. Once you entered into the establishment the music was playing and it was a vibe. Yet, to my dismay that’s where my interest stopped. The clothes were low quality, and not much choose from. The place was dimly lit, but was quite clean. I truly wanted to love this place, but what I came for which was to find quality second hand items was not met."
"The prices? Amazing. The vibes? Immaculate. I got a dish rack for $1 and the shirt and romper I got were $8 each. The vibe in there was great. As a queer person I’ve had a hard time feeling safe since moving to Louisiana (Houma) but this place felt so safe and welcoming. The employees were so nice even in just our brief interactions. I can’t wait to come back and see what they have."
"I wanted to love this place so bad! They have great support for the Queer community! And knowing how fashionable they are I expected to see all the great clothes to choose from. But their selection was bare minimum. And wasn’t really fashionable at all. Hopefully they get a new donation in with better options."
