"Very bad customer service! I looked up into google to find the best haircut place in Lake Charles. After I saw it’s rating I decided to come here. That was a mistake, because the number of the review count is only handful. It was 5:25pm (they close at 6.00), but the lady was giving me the vibe that they are already closed. Finally, they checked me in. This place is spacious and seemed nice at first. So, I wanted to treat myself nice in the saloon as it has good reviews. Therefore, I decided to have a hair cut and a facial shave. I asked to the lady to give me a medium hair cut, specifically described it. Later, I found out she cut my hair really shorter than I told her. Finally when the lady was working on facial shaving, she was getting impatient and wanted to leave the store right away, so she couldn’t properly give me a facial hair cut. Later, she asked another lady that she cannot do it and if the other lady could help her. The hair cut was $20 and the facial shave was $30, however, they charged me $62, saying that they gave me special facial cut. I just wondered, because, neither the hair cut nor the facial shave was the way I wanted it to be. Only good thing is that they do free shampoo. Very poor service. I would never ask anyone to come over here, however, the personal service may vary. And mine was horrible!"

"Went for our sons first haircut and to clean up my husband and might I say that Colynda did an amazing job!!! She was so patient with our child and extremely personable. LOVE LOVE LOVE her! Highly recommend."

"This place was recommended to us. Location: Near Izzo's, but easy to pass up. Parking lot can become crowded. Atmosphere: Comfortable and clean. There is a sitting area if you are waiting for someone, but it can quickly fill up (sits about 6 people). Service: A little awkward. We were not greeted, even though we were the only customers at the time. We had to initiate conversation. You sign in on a kiosk at the front counter. Usually hair places are talkative and upbeat, but this seemed more like they were bored. They were nice though once in the chair. Price: Good prices. Cuts are $20. They also provide beard trims, waxing, shaves, etc for additional/separate prices. They do not color hair. The cut they did was good. Overall, would return."
