"Please do not use this place !!! I got my braids done on 8/28 and was charged 180.00 plus I had to buy the hair. 2 days later my braids were slipping out and I called Damel the lady who braided it. Instead of her saying “ come to the shop so I can fix it” This lady asked me “ WHAT DID YOU DO TO YOUR HAIR?!”…. I went back to the shop and she attempted to re-braid the ones that were coming out . The next day they were coming out AGAIN and it looked like my hair was 4 months old instead of four days old. Please do not let this lady braid your hair! A WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME!!!"
"Horrible customer service. I went in on a Thursday and booked an appointment for Saturday, showed her pictures and everything. She gave me a price of $130 to do feedin cornrows. I said that's kind of high but if you provide the braiding hair then it might be reasonable. I got there on Saturday on time for my 1pm appointment. She was braiding individuals on another lady's head, so it looked like it might be a 2/3 hours wait before she can do mine. She acted like the price she told me was too small, and then said she doesnt provide the hair. She didnt seem confident that she even knew how to do the style so I did myself a favor and walked away, to avoid wasting my time and leaving with disappointment in the end."
"I went in and showed the lady the pic of how i wanted my hair, but instead she did what she wanted. I wasn't satisfied and my braids were falling out not even a week that i had them. I will never go back again. She stopped to talk to one of her friends for a good 30 minutes. So that was time i just sat there looking crazy. After she did my braids she asked if i was good i said no and that she needs to fix them, then they had another customer come in so she couldn't fix them. I will never go back again. I WONT HAVE THIS PROBLEM AT JENNY BRAIDING"
"I am the wife of Elvis. This was my first experience at this shop and I must say when I walked in and saw the other lady braiding someone's hair , my first impression was she doesn't know what she is doing, that hair do was horrible. I was about to leave but another lady came out and said she was going to do my hair I said ok. I'm glad I stayed because she did a wonderful job on my hair. My twist braids were beautiful. My hair is very thin and she made sure that where I had spots they were covered up. I'm not sure of what her name is but she will be the one that will do my hair not the other lady. The heavy set lady is the one who did my hair."
"I had an appointment for 9:00am today, I sent a picture of how I wanted my hair the day before which was 4 goddess braids up in a bun, mind you I have natural hair. When I sat down she asked if I wanted my hair braided straight back, and I told her no I sent you a picture of how I wanted my hair. I showed her a picture of what I wanted again and she stated that the picture would be 5 braids instead. I said that's fine Ill get the 5 instead. She proceeded to do my hair in four parts. She used one bag of hair for each braid. After she finished she used ECO gel to "lay" the hair down, and she sat me under the dryer. When i got home i seen that there were pieces of my hair sticking out of the braids, the parts were not evenly parted, and there were still clumps of gel in my hair. I called and asked if she would return my money she told me to come to the shop around 5pm. When I arrived at the shop there were two customers in the chairs. I spoke with the lady who did my hair and she instantly became loud and said that she need to take my hair down AND kept repeating I have natural hair and she'll give me my money back. As we were sitting down I told her that I wanted to take a picture before she takes it out. The other braider began to speak in their foreign language and began to roll her eyes and toot her lips. I then stood up and walked to the mirror to take a picture and as I walking she has a hold of my hair and then proceeds to pull it. I asked for my money back at this time so I can leave the shop, she is still being belligerent and refuse to give me my money. The other lady then tells her to call the police as she picked up the phone as if she was calling them and I took out my phone to record her and she hung up the phone and gave me my money. PLEASE DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS BUSINESS, THEY ARE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNCOUTH."
