"I started at the Transcontinental store when they opened and switched to the W Esplanade store when Vicky moved because she is my favorite! All the techs are great and the service is without an equal. I get waxed, tinted, filled in and pedicured and walk out a new woman. The best salon around and I’ll never switch."

"I’ve been debating on writing this review because I’ve had numerous great experiences a L’Amour but my last service was pretty awful. I am concerned about the customer safety and cleanliness of this facility. During my last visit I got an Oasis pedicure for $49. The lady who did my pedicure barely let my feet soak, in practically cold water, before she started trimming my cuticles. She cut me on multiple toes and one of them was bleeding pretty bad. Now my review is not based on the fact that I was cut but rather how it was dealt with. I know these things happen and she did apologize. At one point she grabbed a tube of what I assume to be blood stop powder, dipped the tool she used on me into the powder and put it on my open cut. And did this at least three times, after touching the same tool on my bloody cut. It’s been several days and my middle toe that she clipped with the cuticle cutters is red and inflamed, possibly infected. It still hurts and it hit to the touch. I’m absolutely disgusted by my experience. And to top it off the whole polish job doesn’t look good either. I basically paid $50 for an infection and a bad polish job. I hope this review will encourage L’Amour to re-train their staff on proper safety and sanitation procedures. Sadly, I don’t think I will be returning here with my money."

"Absolutely FANTASTIC!!! Mimi was able to salvage my long natural nails after another shop butchered them!! I was so nervous I was shaking but she quickly made me feel at ease. Salon was VERY clean, every single staff member was friendly and welcoming, my pedicure was so relaxing and most importantly Mimi listened and gave me exactly what I wanted with excellent skill and attention to detail!!! As a transplant from Texas, I am happy to call this my new nail salon!"

"Beautiful place to get your nails done. They offer a ton of dip manicure options! I received lots of compliments on my chrome manicure. I can't wait to schedule my next appointment! I suggest making an appointment vs walking in. If you want a place that can cater to your personal preference just bring in a picture and they're happy to recreate it!"
