"My first experience there and I loved it. I had a stuffed quail...and Brule cheesecake and walked away satisfied. Everything was surprisingly flavorful, well seasoned and delicious. The atmosphere perfect, the wine wonderful and yes I will return with friends."

"We were so excited to have dinner at The Library Wine and Provisions in Gonzales while visiting family in the area over Christmas. From the cocktails, appetizers, and the dinner - everything we got on the menu was excellent - and we practically ordered everything on the menu. There were 8 of us and I think our favorites from the apps were the tuna tart, the flatbread, the ceviche guacamole, and the shishito peppers. SO GOOD. From the entree section, the scallops, filet mignon, gnocchi, and red fish were highlights. This restaurant is a great addition to dining options in this area- and quite frankly stands in a class of its own outside of New Orleans (in fact, it is better than some of the restaurants we have been to in New Orleans.) The only minor complaint was that it was pretty cold the night we went (temperature wise) and could use a little more warmth - maybe like real bookshelves or curtains on the windows. We live in Atlanta and we will most certainly be back when visiting family. Don't hesitate to go enjoy a special evening at this restaurant!"

"Overall a great dining experience with a few shortcomings. Small plates were great, the empanadas were delicious along with the buratta salad being fantastic. However when it came to entrees it was a bit disappointing. The gnocchi I ordered was undercooked and my wife's scallops with risotto had undercooked rice, not to mention the scallops barely had any color on them. LWP did have a great wine selection and while the atmosphere was close quartered, it was a good elegant adventure of higher quality food."

"Our experience at Library Wine and Provisions was incredible. I don’t remember the server’s name but she was EXCELLENT. She was very professional yet funny and relatable. I got the Black Forest which was a flavorful, figgy version of a Manhattan - My dream cocktail. Then we split the Burrata Salad, which was great. I got the Shishito Pepper appetizer for my meal and it the best shishito dish I’ve ever had. It came with a savory sweet sauce, toasty peanuts, a perfect crunch, and lots of roasted Brussels sprouts. My husband got the Cast Iron Red Fish. It came with a spicy sauce that he got on the side, because he can’t handle a lot of spice, and it was delicious. I dipped my Brussels in it! He loved it even without it, can the risotto was also one of the best he’s ever had. The vibe was so cozy and intimate. The colors were warm yet inviting. From pictures, I was worried that it would be dark and dingy but it was anything but. 11/10 experience!!!"
