"They rebuilt my engine and my car was doing fine enough. But a year later I have a main seal oil leak so bad that I can't even drive it. So on top of the $3,000 I already paid them for the rebuild, I'll have to pay an additional $2,500 for someone else to fix something that they should have repaired correctly during the engine rebuild. Also after the rebuild, my heater and AC wasn't working so I had to pay another $1,500 to get that fixed by a separate mechanic because I wasn't getting response from this place. I tried calling them when it happened so that they can check it out, but they didn't answer the phone, and were never at the shop when I went by a few times. Even went to the place next door that they are affiliated with, and never got a response. They were nice people to talk to, but I can't recommend their workmanship or communication."

"Do Not bring your car to this place TERRIBLE SERVICE ..Broke my heat and A/c and refused to fix it ..asked me for more money with no actual receipt showing what he bought ..had to bring my car back 6 times after he fixed the motor still had a oil leak ..service is not worth the money"

"While Checkered Flag certainly wasn't the quickest service around I would 100% use his services again. I needed a full engine rebuild, Checkered was able to find me a suitable used engine with low miles, installed and ready to go for thousands, I mean thousands less than anyone else doing engine rebuilds. It took a while to get the engine, but the price made it worth it."

"This guy has had my truck for 3 weeks now. Every time I call he’s giving me the runaround. I still have yet to see my truck or hear an update. I refuse to use this company again. I see where I’m going to have to go to his shop with my attorney and the police to even get it back. This is ridiculous. Never again."

"I would not recommend, had my motor rebuilt and upon leaving my car was giving me problems. Killed on me while heading home and frequently while driving in addition two weeks later my car sits broken with the same issue that was supposed to be corrected! Finally got in touch with him and he agreed to come look at the car. But never showed and won't answer phone. And told me that I must've ran my car hot. Lies!!! If motor was rebuilt and fluids were changed and filled there is no reason for it to run hot! Especially when I've haven't been able to drive it due to it constantly killing. Which wasn't a issue before the so called repair"
