"Worst experience I’ve ever had at an oil change service. If I could give less than 1 star I would. I called in and asked how much an oil change was and they said $55. When I got there they said my car has to take the $90 oil. Okay, fine that makes sense. Then he proceeded to take everything out of my glove box without asking and shows me my cabin air filter. He says he recommended I get it changed. I ask how much it is- $30 he says. I say okay that’s fine let’s do it. He changes the air filter and leaves a big oil stain on my cloth seats (pictured). He says the total is $180 and I’m thinking it’s a little high but I pay it and they rush me out. I look at my invoice that they gave me and they charged me $50 for the cabin air filter! Charging almost double for what you told me is crazy and not even correcting it before I leave. And then I call and the manager said he was talking about a different air filter and I just misunderstood. How did I misunderstand him holding my air filter, telling me $30 for it, me saying yes and getting charged $50 for it. Now I have to clean my seats as well as being over charged. I will not be coming back."

"Guy told me “i don’t know how to get the hood open” and then walked away for 50 mins without saying anything. Made me wait 50 minutes with no communication just to tell me they didn’t have my filter in stock. Wish they would’ve checked if they had my filter immediately when I got there instead of wasting my time and the time of the people waiting behind me. All it takes is 10 seconds to scan the barcode in the door to see if they have the filter. Supposed to be a rapid oil change place. Waiting an hour to not even get an oil change is not rapid."

"Horrible Experience - Do Not Trust Take 5 Oil Change! I had an absolutely terrible experience with Take 5 Oil Change, and I strongly advise against trusting them with your vehicle. I went to their shop for an oil change two weeks ago, choosing the premium oil option, and paid $100 for the service. Little did I know that this would turn into a nightmare. The very next day, my car was leaking oil profusely onto the ground. Understandably upset, I decided not to risk letting Take 5 make matters worse, so I took my car to a trusted mechanical repair shop. To my dismay, they found that the oil filter was completely CRUSHED, and the male nipple connecting to the filter was DAMAGED! It was evident that the new filter had been overtightened during the oil change. Moreover, the oil plug was not correctly installed, causing the leak. At the repair shop, I had to pay an additional $100 to fix the mess Take 5 had created. When I called Take 5's customer service the next day, they advised me to visit the shop in person to discuss the matter. I did so, showing the employee picture of the damaged oil filter. To my disbelief, he claimed it looked fine to him and they refused to admit any fault. He assured me he would contact his manager and get back to me. However, I never received a call from them. This lack of response and accountability from Take 5 is appalling and unprofessional. My experience with Take 5 Oil Change has been nothing short of a nightmare. Their incompetent service not only caused a lot of headaches but also wasted my time and money. I would strongly caution anyone against using their services. If you care about your car and want it serviced correctly, find a reputable and reliable mechanic elsewhere. Take my advice and avoid Take 5 Oil Change at all costs. Their poor service and refusal to acknowledge their mistakes make them entirely untrustworthy. Spare yourself the trouble and choose a more reliable and competent service provider for your vehicle's needs."
