"While visiting my aunt in Bridge City last Thursday, my car started making a whining noise (turns out, it was power steering pump). Anyway, I google mechanics near me, and Mike's was the closest to me. So I drove there, off in the woods. Thought it was a real place of business. I met him and his wife. She was a super sweet lady. So I tell him what my problem was, n he pops the hood n tells me to start the car. His wife then goes in the house, or trailer. Then Mike tells me it could be the fan belt, or powersteering pump might be bad. Then he caught me way off guard. He tells me I'm a cute young lady n asks if I wanna take a ride in his race truck, just me n him. I was totally wierded out. Told him maybe another day, that my aunt Barbara was expecting me home. Just a little creepy for me. I'm 17, almost 18. I have never had a married old man come at me like that. And he has the sweetest wife. Maybe it was innocent and he meant it like a grandfather type of thing. Strange experience for me."

"Brought my truck to Mike for repairs. I initially thought Mike was good people, and he had great reviews. Turns out, Mike is a thief, as not only did he swap out my amplifier, but all the wires as well, and I don't know if my speakers just yet. It was a professional install. My tags are from Washington State, n I guess he figured he was going a take advantage of an out of stater. However, my home is in Lafayette La, and I rent a place in Beaumont, as I am on the Golden Pass project. Of course he denies it. My name is John Tweedel, and I am on facebook. I am a man of strong faith, and very successful in life. I would never bear false witness against anybody. He is a thief, and I pray for people like him. I am leaving this review in hopes that nobody else gets taken. Some people just really cannot afford this type of deception. It is guys like this, that give mechanics a bad name. And there are honest ones out there..."
