Royal Profession Auto Detailing

"PLEASE NOTE: This is the NEW Royal Detailing, under new management, so if you ever tried them in the past and things weren't quite up to par...well, PLEASE give them another chance now...you won't be disappointed! First off, they offer an online scheduling feature and were very responsive with followup to let me know my appointment request was received and to give me a rough price estimate without actually seeing the vehicle. I am extremely finicky about my vehicle when it comes to keeping it clean and spot free...window streaks in particular bother me. So, I let James know in my first message to him that he would be dealing with someone who, shall we say, has very high standards, LOL...otherwise known as being nit-picky. I arrived at the appointed time, and James and the other guys are very affable and respectful in person with just the right mix of a good sense of humor. I gave them a few more pointers as to what I expect and how difficult it is for me to find reliable folks who can then actually detail my vehicle to my standards. Then, I went for a walk to enjoy this spring weather, thinking I'd be getting the vehicle back in 3 or 4 hours at the earliest. Much to my surprise, it was done in about 2 hours...much faster than I have come to expect with other shops. I'm okay with the extra time if it is required to do a great job. I will admit that I did have a little trepidation, thinking if it was done so quickly, I might be disappointed in some ways. I WAS WRONG. This detail is on par with the best I have ever had done on any of my vehicles in the past 20 years or so. Trust me, I LOOKED in all the nooks and crannies, knowing from past experience the areas that tend to get overlooked because they are not highly visible. Absolutely no trace of lint/dust anywhere on the interior, wheel wells cleaned, no spots on any of the areas around the door edges...and the engine area...well, it looks like new and I noticed that they had really worked around the outer edges of the underside of the hood to not leave any water spots there...yeah, yeah, I know...it's underneath and nobody will see that...but I see it, LOL. They also didn't need to be reminded of that somewhat annoying little strip of rubber Chevy has tucked up underneath the front edge of the vehicle...it is recessed a good bit and not all that highly visible if a person is close to the vehicle...yep, they got that, too...and it has been missed by other detail folks in the past. I have absolutely no suggestions for any improvements in the work these guys did...especially the windows...I always notice even the slightest streak or smear...and there are absolutely none to be found. The price was also more than fair. These guys are obviously eager to earn new business...I got none of those vibes that they are just there because they HAVE to be there doing the job. They are energetic and give the appearance of wanting to be nowhere else other than fawning over my vehicle :) It is sometimes more difficult to make a well-kept vehicle look much better than it is to make a very dirty vehicle look better...but these folks managed to make my 2-year-old vehicle that I actually purchased used a year or so ago look as close to show-room new as a used vehicle can look. Yeah, that's a bit convoluted...the gist of it is that they do exceedingly good work no matter the fact that I drive a little economy car :) Again, if they can meet my rather rigid standards when it comes to auto detailing, that right there speaks volumes!"
