Fratelli's Italian Grille

"Really good food! I love how this food sits good on my stomach (unlike other Italian places I’ve been where I feel half dead after eating) The flavors taste really fresh and has a homemade vibe to it… they don’t abuse the salt or any other ingredient. Every time I have eaten there every flavor has been balanced to perfection.! It’s a small place relatively… feels cozy and familiar. My daughter is autistic and we can’t go many places with her because of the noise level that usually disturbs her greatly… now at Fratellis the noise level is nice. Soft not too loud music in the background, if you go you totally can hear and talk with the people l without having to scream so it’s a very calming atmosphere so even my little one loves it. We are also new to Slidell so this has been like a small little gem we are happy to have discovered."

"Cory and a coworker took excellent care of me, he recommended the salmon piccata. The angel hair and greens in the lemon butter caper tasted excellent, as well as the beautiful strip of salmon. The service was prompt, I can tell the two servers work well together, I was consistently taken care of, regardless of whose table I was. I finished with a tiramisu that was excellently presented and made in house. Beautiful ambience, clean silverware, very organized tables. Wonderfully plated food. I would like to see more mid-body and light body Italian imported wine on the menu. Amarone, Barolo, Montepulciano, Valpolicella, all seem to be missing on the menu. Still a 10/10."

"We went for a work lunch outing and everything was perfect. It was my first time there and I will be back! I had the veal parm which was fantastic and enough for 2, maybe even 3, meals."

"I am 100% permanently and totally disabled from the Marine Corps. I have to have my highly trained military service dog with me when I went into the restaurant with my family I was rudely told to get out and I was denied service. I was told they have a very strict policy to not let service dogs in. I was very embarrassed. I will never in my life return please do not go to this unpatriotic place. Without military service members fratellis would not be able to have a Resteraunt in the USA. I did two tours in Iraq and this dog is my lifeline. If you are a patriotic person, please do not go to this restaurant and boycott it at all cost. Thank you."

"The food was good except for the salad dressing. Ordered Caesar salad and the dressing was sweet and didn't taste like Caesar. The server confirmed that I had the right dressing. Ordered blue cheese salad dressing and it was equally unimpressive. Dishes ordered: Chicken & shrimp Murphy and chicken Parmesan."
