My date and I were immediately intrigued by the menu, and we opted for the "fish in a boat" and the gumbo dumplings. Both dishes were absolute showstoppers. But what truly elevated our experience was the exceptional service provided by Michael. He was knowledgeable, attentive, and incredibly friendly, making us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our visit. He even went above and beyond by recommending a fantastic spot to listen to live jazz music, which perfectly complemented our evening. Michael's genuine hospitality made us feel like more than just customers; we felt like guests. We left Sun Chong not only with a happy stomach but also with the feeling of having discovered a hidden gem in the bustling city. "Korean and creole combinations. Tasty food. Unique combinations. Reagan, our server was outstanding. Kimchi inside dumplings ... loved it. The music is loud hip hop. that was the only drawback for me. hard to have a good conversation. but food was good."

The food impressed, and the wait time was reasonable. Situated in the bustling French Quarter, opting for walking or rideshare is advisable due to limited parking. "I actually was pretty excited to try out this restaurant out so I decided to try it for my daughters birthday. It’s a very intimate setting and small space but still accommodating. We were seated immediately and orders were placed, the wait time for the food was a bit long which was surprising because it wasn’t packed. The music played was a vibe I enjoyed at least while we waited. We tried the gumbo dumplings, they were more spicy than flavorful and that was a bit of a disappointment. My daughter had the veggie rice and that was pretty good. I ordered the seafood ramen and it was spicy but good! We had to pay an additional $30 to bring our cake in and I was expecting more from the staff but only one waiter came out and a sparkler that barely stayed lit. Overall I say the place is cute for drinks with your girls or a nice first date. I will be going back just because I want to see if I get a different experience. I would recommend this place most definitely though"
