"We called ahead and stopped with our transport today on our way through to Houston coming from Canada. We were craving some cat fish. We ordered two 3 piece catfish meals and were shocked when we got back to the truck and saw how much food we had! Huge portions!!! And soooo delicious. Fish is great and coleslaw was so yummy too! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal today and we have lots left over for a snack tonight. Thank you Porky’s staff for your excellent service and extra pieces of fish for our drive!! ❤️"

"I purchased 2 of their plate dinners, and we tried the fish filets, ribs, pulled pork, brisket and the smoked turkey. We enjoyed everything with the exception of the pulled pork. It was very bland. The ribs were fantastic! Perfectly seasoned. Smoked turkey was flavorful and moist. My husband said their fish was the best of all. I don't care for catfish, but I tried a small piece. It was perfectly seasoned and fried just right. I'm giving an update on the turkey. Porky's has changed it and I no longer recommend it. I didn't want to eat my dinner after I got it this time."

"Food is always good. We stop here when we are traveling through. The prices on your website need to be updated! We ordered a porky pig out, to go. Enough meat for 4 sandwiches. They gave us no sauce. BBQ sauce would have been nice."

"Visiting Marshall for some training and was told this is THE PLACE for good BBQ. They were right! Ended up eating here 4 times. Go, try the pulled pork sandwich. Make sure to try the beans, they’re the best."

"Best catfish filets in the area. Been going here for over 20 years just for the catfish and we still drive over from Longview for it. I can honestly say that every time it’s been great. If you want fried catfish and you’re in the area, stop by and get some. Pro tip, ask for sliced jalapeños to go with the coleslaw and you’ll be in high cotton. Unfortunately I can’t say anything about their other food because the only thing I’ve ever ordered from them is the catfish filets. **EDIT** Decided to stop in with the family September 4, 2021 for some catfish before the races. The food was great like always, but apparently it’s too much to ask for Tabasco. I asked the waitress for it and she said ok, but never brought it to us."
