"Recently, my wife and I were in Houma for grand daughters wedding. We visited the Rouses on St Charles Street. We were greeted and welcomed to the store, and asked if they could help us find anything. They were helpful and very courteous. The staff are a plus for the store. The ladies at the counter were very friendly and welcomed us to the store and city and told us to have a safe trip back to Mobile. Thanks Rouses"

"Love this Rouses! My first time trying their sushi, and it’s pretty decent for a grocery store. The rolls have a lot of rice and are kinda loose so it falls apart but still relatively good. Just be careful, most of them are mainly only cucumber, imitation crab meat, and avocado so don’t expect to get a lot of fish. They were generous with the crunchy flakes though if you like that. The sushi chefs were also nice and offered samples. They were engaging and helped me decide which ones to buy. I also like how they offer $6 sushi rolls on Tuesdays (only on certain rolls). I will definitely be back to see what they have to offer! Side note: this is my go-to bakery, floral, and wine Rouses location. It may not be the closest to me, but I feel like their selections are fresher and more up-to-date compared to other Rouses in the surrounding area. Highly recommend this location! It may be busy at times, but that’s a good sign! More customers mean it’s a good place to shop, right?!"
