"BUYER BEWARE - ALL SALES FINAL!!! I bought a $10 pair of black and gold earrings from Wear Nola last Saturday to wear for the Saints game the next day. When I got home and tried them on they were defective. The earrings would turn so that you would only see the cheap metal back as opposed to the black and gold design on the front. I stopped by to return them today. When I presented the earrings and the receipt to the sales person at the counter, telling her they didn't hang right, she told me in a nasty tone, "All sales are final." Oh really? I don't ever recall seeing a sign saying that all sales were final and it wasn't noted on the receipt either. I found it hard to believe that a retail store, selling new items, wouldn't accept returns, especially because the earrings were defective. This is in a high-end neighborhood and you would thing they would stand by their products and do the right thing. There is something unethical about that, like they sell to tourists that would never come back, so who cares if their products are quality or not. I then asked the sales person if I could exchange the earrings; I mean, they were defective so I would never wear them. The woman, in her nasty tone, said, "You can only exchange them from the vendor's items." I thought Wear Nola was the vendor but apparently the store's items are from multiple vendors and Wear Nola just sells the items for them. I then asked her where the vendor items were located and she stepped from behind the counter and said, "These are the vendor's items." She was basically pointing toward the front quarter of the store so I asked her, "Which items?" because I wasn't really clear. She then spread her arms wide and barked out, "These items!" She was practically yelling at me and I couldn't believe how nasty she was. Well, I picked out another pair of cheap earrings that weren't dangling ones for the same price, and I got her approval and left the store...forever. I am still baffled by the whole interaction but what I do know is that I will never set foot in the store again nor will I ever take anyone there...all for a $10 pair of cheap earrings and a nasty sales person. CAVEAT EMPTOR!"
