"My sister and I walked into the store and was immediately greeted. The Mgr (I didn't get her name) and the associate Rena were very helpful. I would highly recommend visiting this location. I hope that Rena is well appreciated. The customer service was immaculate."

"I walked into the store, and I was greeted by two employees who were having a personal conversation. No one else was in the store. I was the only customer at that point. No one offered help so I walked around the store and looked and I didn’t see what I was looking for right away so I asked for two particular brands I was told that one brand they don’t carry, the other brand I was told it’s down that aisle. Very sparse. This seems to be an ongoing thing at this location. What kind of Customer Service is this? I replied to the lady it’s OK you don’t have to come and take me there I will go. She didn’t offer to come down. She just told me it was that way then she began to walk . I did enter the store before and purchase some other shoes back during December and the Customer Service gentleman was awesome when I asked for his help he was stocking something but he immediately with a store full of people said oh I will take you where they are, and he took me there and any other further questions I had about shoes he answered those. The two young ladies were 21 younger and one older lady. I just don’t feel they were very professional about their customer service ethics. This is one of my pet peeves when visiting stores I will come back again, but hopefully the customer service is better especially when there’s no one in the store and one customer enters and that’s the only person you have at that point in the store."

"Rude staff. Enough so to make me get on Maps just to rate them, the experience was so bad. I won't be returning. If you go, be sure to put all the shoes you try on back where you got them, it's apparently not their job and will start throwing shoe boxes around in a fit of rage. And, if you do say yes, you would like some help after they ask, be prepared for frustrated eye rolls. As far as the selection of shoes, it's slim. Even Target's selection is better. Most are poor quality and way overpriced. If you find something you might like, you're lucky if they have it in your size. Overall, just a bad place to shop for shoes. Every time I give them a try, it's the same awful experience. I'm honestly curious how they manage to stay open for business and have such a high rating."

"I have two children still at home and have purchased at Rack Room Shoes(on Louisiana Avenue) several times in the past for the entire family. Usually it is a pleasant experience...but I guess that was because I didn't have any issues that required assistance. Recently, I bought a couple of pair of shoes for my son and myself. I was wearing sandals and needed to use one of the "sample socks" to try on shoes. Once at home, I put the shoes on with regular socks and noticed it was a little tight. The shoes were worn a total of about 20 minutes. I brought them back to the store a couple of days later to exchange for the next size up and was told that these were now used shoes and they couldn't do the exchange. Unless someone hijacked my shoes and ran a full marathon in the 3 days between purchase and return there is no way these should be considered used. For an $80 pair of shoes lost this company has lost a customer(with kids). I will not purchase from this store again."
