"What started out promising unfortunately didn’t conclude in a positive manner. We purchased an Elkay quartz composite farmhouse sink, well over $1000, from Coburn’s. First sink had a gash out of the bottom and Coburn’s agreed to replace it at no charge which we appreciated because we had it for a couple months before the contractors were able to use it. We picked up a replacement sink and I looked at it in the box and accepted it. Two weeks later our contractor was unable to install the countertop because there was a hairline fracture in the Elkay sink. I then did my research better and learned that although Elkay composite sinks are high quality they are subject to breakage during shipping. The research suggests examining the sink with a flashlight before accepting it. I called Coburn’s and shared the news and the research results and assumed they would replace the sink. They refused! That left me with a $1000+ sink I can’t use but they did offer to sell me another one. Needless to say there was no way I was going to spend any additional money with Coburn’s. I was able to buy another sink from The Plumbing Warehouse/LCR. Within one week the sink and countertop are in and good to go."
