Barracuda Taco Stand

"We wandered from New Orleans to Algiers Point via the ferry. As we walked around we came across this gem. We just love the ambiance, the food was top notch and they had good beer. What a fantastic location!! I am a real estate agent and think every neighborhood should be developed like Algiers Point. There is a park for children on the corner across from Barracuda, and near by there is a church and a bar amidst adorable houses. Great location!! We did not get a picture of our food because we were too eager to eat. We just forgot!!"

"The only thing I don't like about this place, and the only reason it doesn't get all 5 stars, is that seating is exclusively outside. Y'all it's Louisiana. Food and drinks are delicious and service is quick and friendly."

"My girlfriend and I were recommended this place by a cemetery tour guide and it didn't disappoint, especially with it being sunny and in the 60's. Service was excellent, the place is clean and pleasant. I got the crispy fish and chicken tacos along with having some of my girlfriend's mushroom taco. Everything was delicious"

"The food was well seasoned and tasty. Loved the salsa and the warm chips. Nice atmosphere. They were hosting a nostalgic Christmas movie night at the time. The towered gas heaters made eating outdoors comfortable."

"The Barracuda Taco Stand appears to be an old repurposed Gulf Oil Station. The building is really cool and the sign is a great landmark. The food here is absolutely great and the staff is super friendly. I had a beef taco on a corn tortilla and my wife had the fried fish taco on a wheat tortilla. The margarita was also very good. This was our first visit but will not be or last."
