Barrow’s Catfish - Harvey

"The fried catfish, potato salad, gumbo was great. Didn't like the iced tea, too sweet and they don't offer a regular tea. I also don't like the fact that they have a no sharing policy if three people want to share the large catfish dinner. They would not bring out another plate. When did that start? I thought that I was watching an episode of Everybody Hates Chris. I really thought that the waiter was joking."

"It's nothing like the original. The quality of the food was horrible, like buying frozen food, then doctoring it up. Now they can for sure make wonders with masking the taste, but there is no hiding the quality of the food used to prepare the meal. All that being said, I commend my sever James. He did a wonderful job doing his best to provide an excellent experience. I feel this is a one and done situation for me until further notice, or maybe just not that location. 2 stars, literally just because the service was on point."

"Service and the food is on point. Is a great sit down restaurant. I couldn't have asked for better service. The Hollygrove was a little too sweet but everything thing else was perfect. I left my takeout container and it was thrown away. I went back and they fixed me a fresh plate of what was left over. Won me over. A great date or special occasion restaurant. Will go back to again. Loved it."

"Food was very hit and miss. Fried food is good, baked food is not. The presentation is great, the service was not up to par. Kudos for the upper echelon/high quality design for the building and interior. When I walked up I stated that outside "looks better than the hotel it's attached to". Great clean lines and ambiance. The service was bad, the wait-person could not remember A single order, they struggled to proceed through our entire experience. We repeated things over and over again until he got it. They forgot multiple items again and again. The presentation is phenomenal. Some of the best looking food around. Overall, I would more than likely not visit again. But I always give second chances. So I may do it again with a different waiter."
