"This place use to be a great neighborhood secret until they were on TV. Since then, they have added more seating but it seems like portions went down and prices definitely went up. I still enjoys stopping by went I am in town for some of the (usually) AWESOME char grilled oysters and a shrimp platter. This time the freshness and flavor was all there but they char grilled oysters were over cooked and the bread was not so fresh. The garlic butter made up for it. The shrimp was still a hit although like I said portions are smaller. For $26 they can stand a few more shrimp! By the way, the girl with the tattoos working the bar is AWESOME! attentive and friendly!"
"Katie's is a rightfully popular spot located right in a neighborhood, giving it such a close, neighborhood feel with big, incredible taste. We arrived when it was so busy, there was only one table left upstairs, but the staff still ensured we had full drinks, extra plates, and even talked with us a little. The Swamp Fries with gravy... an absolute must try appetizer. Katie's Classic burger had the best texture and taste with a soft bun. The Hula Girl Pizza took the prize for me. Everything on this pizza was perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned, and still had that thin crust crunch."
"Excellent spot, top in the town. I has the seafood pizza, well worth it and delicious, even my friends kids liked it. Thin crust, but more bread than a cracker, ate every inch and felt good doing so. Had the The Atchafalaya seafood pizza"
"I haven't been here in over 10 years, but it was still just as good or better. The swamp fries were amazing. I meant to take a picture, but we ate them way too fast. I got the special, which was the fried catfish with seafood sauce and mac-n-cheese. My nephew got the Boudreaux pizza and my mom got a great sandwich, which wasn't on the menu. However, they made it and she loved it. They were very accommodating and the service was great. I can't wait to go back."
"Had a nice time at Katie's, this week. We had a large selection from their menu. Everything we ordered was delicious. It was wonderful. It was very busy, service was good and the place was pretty loud. It's a pretty small place, but it was cute. The best part was the food! I would absolutely recommend Katie's. Loved the homemade croutons, ranch and build your own pasta. Visiting from out of town and happy we stopped in!"
