"I'm writing this review from my shower, as I'm taking my third one today to cool down. I called Moreau's A/C on 6/20/23 to adresss some issues with my unit. To my surprise, a tech arrived the same day! Unfortunately, it all went downhill from there. When the tech arrived, he was on his phone from the time he showed up, until the time he left. He didn't even get off of his phone to greet me, which was awkward. After looking at my unit (all while still talking on his phone to someone else), he determined that it needed coils cleaned and some freon, and quoted me around $600 for the repairs. I agreed and we scheduled the repairs for 6/28/23. This was further out than I had anticipated, especially considering that no parts needed to be ordered, but I understand that this is peak season for A/C techs. Our family started counting down the days until our A/C would be fixed. So, I took a half of a day of PTO, and made arrangements with my staff at work to cover my absence. A follow-up text was sent to the tech on Monday, 6/26/23, to confirm our upcoming service. The tech even stated that he might be able to come out a day early, which I declined, seeing that I had already made arrangements for 6/28/23. Given that I was told "after lunch" as a time for repair (12p-2p?), I took off of work at 11:30 and headed home. It wasn't until after 1pm that I received a text, not a phone call, from the tech stating that he would need to reschedule. This shows a complete lack of courtesy, professionalism, and consideration for people's time. I run a business, and any time I am away from work, I have to arrange coverage for the business. The tech stated that he would call to try and reschedule a time to come back, but HE DIDN'T EVEN DO THAT!!!! He never called back. I guess Moreau's A/C is swimming in money and doesn't need to perform jobs that are only $600. There must have been someone else with more money that they needed to tend to. I WILL NEVER CALL MOREAU'S A/C AGAIN, AND I WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE. Making it to appointments (that YOU picked out the time for) is a basic function of any business. However, there are extenuating circumstances that can cause these things to be missed. If/when that happens, you CALL the customer and APOLOGIZE! People are having to make arrangements to be available for the time YOU scheduled. The least you can do is act like you have a modicum of respect for people's time. I called ACE A/C, and I would recommend everyone who reads this do the same."

Jeremy was able to get the old one out and install the new one in a very timely manner. Moreau's was very professional, fast, friendly, and affordable. Would highly recommend!"
