"Great verry good prices and good quality’s thanks to crescent radiator"
"I've been a steady customer at Crescent City Radiator Works for the past 20 years. They've repaired or recored numerous classic car and heavy equipment radiators faithfully. Not once have I had an issue with their workmanship or quality of service."
"Been in the business for 40 years using Crescent Radiator the entire time. Have referred more than a hundred customers over the years and have yet to receive negative feedback or anyone saying they could have purchased cheaper elsewhere. Have personally purchased or installed hundreds of their radiators and not once had an issue to deal with, so I can't even comment on their warranty operation for the fact I've never had to use it. Crescent has always had and always will have our business."
"Have had many experiences with this company. I have a delivery service and do a lot of odd jobs with different types of equipment. Crescent had always helped me with repair, purchasing, and problem solving. The good and the bad is, is that they are pretty much busy all the time, so this tells me they have a lot of repeat customers like me. Thanks for your help Nick."
"They ripped me off $275! Okay so, I am a 4th year mechanical engineering college student and I have a good bit of knowledge and experience working on cars. I changed a busted radiator before using my own hands in a friend's car and she still hasn't had a problem with it. The seal on my radiator was leaking and my father said his friend told him about a good radiator shop on Magazine Street in New Orleans I could get advice from. I normally don't go to a mechanic because I pay for my own school, car, insurance, living, and food but I thought maybe if I got a professional opinion I could determine if I needed to replace my radiator or if just putting on a new seal would work. Thinking I might save myself time and money. JEEZ WAS I WRONG! When I was at work (in a plant trying to save money to pay for my last year of college) my father took my car there and after being treated rudely and being asked if he had an appointment, he requested a diagnostic and quote of how much to fix it. He left my car there with his name and phone number. Crescent City Radiator Works then called my father later the same day, but not to tell him their diagnoses. They called to say they already replaced the radiator and to come pick up the car for $375. Okay heres the bullet points of how they ripped me off. 1) They ripped me of by quickly doing work on my car that was never authorized by me or my father and charged me for it. (They never called him or myself with a diagnostic or quote which is what I was paying for) 2) They charged $185 for a radiator I could have bought NEW for less than $100 (type in "1997 Infiniti Q45 radiator new" in google to see for yourself) 3) They charged $60 per hour for 2.5 hours of work. (I can change a radiator myself in 3 to 4 hours for free) I can loosen / tighten bolts and disconnect / connect hoses and sensors myself. I wanted their opinion not their repair time. 4) And then as a cherry on top they charged me $9.95 for radiator fluid when I had a full bottle in my trunk already. I believe that they knew that if they just fixed it really quickly without authorization or permission that they would get more money than if they gave me a quote and a diagnostic first which was all that was asked for so that I could determine whether or not I needed to buy a new gasket or a new radiator. Okay so the only pro is that radiator job looks pretty good. No visable leaks or missing parts that they could have forgotten to put back on (such as hose clamps) And it came with a 2 yr warranty- that I won't use because I coulda DID THE WHOLE $%#! RADIATOR REPLACEMENT MYSELF FOR about $100! When I went there and confronted them about doing work they were not asked or authorized to do. The mechanic shop manager couldn't even look me in the eye and said it was already fixed and there is nothing they can do about it now. I am not mad at the mechanics, they did a fine job on a relatively simple task. I'm mad at the unethical management practices. SO PLEASE! DON'T GO TO THEM FOR ADVICE, DON'T GO TO THEM EXPECTING A QOUTE FIRST. Go to them only if you want decent but over-priced radiator replacement done without a quote or your authorization."
