TaD's Louisiana Cooking- Youngsville

"Overall, my experience was just 'meh.' It's been since October 2023, and honestly, I haven't felt the urge to go back since. I ordered the Grilled Atlantic Salmon with a Baked Sweet Potato, and my boyfriend got the TaD's Grilled Chicken Sandwich with a baked potato. We both gave the food a so-so rating of 6/10. It was alright, but nothing to write home about; lacked a bit of flavor, especially the house salad, which was a letdown. And for what we paid, it didn't quite hit the spot. Service-wise, it wasn't fantastic either; we barely saw our server, and it took ages to get our drinks initially. My boyfriend was a bit more generous, giving his sandwich a 7/10, but still, we both agreed it wasn't worth another visit, considering the price and the forgettable food and service."

"The atmosphere and service here is amazing! Our server was Ms. Cassie. She was very attentive and did and amazing job. The food was delicious! Oh and they have the most amazing beignet fries!!!!"

"The husband and I were in town visiting family and we came here with some friends that live close by. It was pretty empty so we were seated immediately. You can sit in the bar side on the left or normal restaurant on the right. The right was more cozy looking but the friends said to the bar. The menu is pretty extensive, almost too much on it. Reminded me of a Cheesecake Factory menu. If Gordon Ramsey came here he would definitely tell you to cut some things. I say this because the food quality and flavoring needs improvement. You opted for quantity over quality. That being said, we still enjoyed our meal, service, and atmosphere. I just wanted it to be more “Louisiana cooking” and less bland chain restaurant. Our waitress was very young and forgot a few things, but she was very sweet. Our friends said this place is pretty new so hopefully you get the food figured out. Place was very clean, though! I appreciate that. Would definitely come back to try other things. At least try them once!"

"We did not enjoy or first visit this establishment. I understand a wait of 15-30 minutes, but 45 minutes to an hour, and that's if the food is great. I truly understand that they just opened, and they have to get through those challenges of having the right people. I'm sorry, but this looked like a stress test on an episode of Bar Rescue. We had to send our food back twice, and for the price we paid, it was truly not worth it. They didn't have all the cutlery needed to eat with, especially when you're serving Dungeness Crabs. As far the restaurant itself, very nice place and very friendly staff. There's a lot of TV to watch your favorite game. The only bad thing is that you might be staring at someone while watching. On 9/9/23, this just wasn't a good night, but i will go back and try again, so as far now, this is my review."
