"It's a food truck so of course it's a bit noisy. No way around that. BUT the food and service is second to none. The food is better than any of the restaurants around here and the staff are friendly and quick. No complaints here. Best believe I'll be back."
"First time visiting a food truck. Hijo's was visiting Bunkie today and we're glad they did. The food was extraordinary! We had beef tacos, burritos. Very tasty!!! The spicy quacamole was incredible!!!"
"First time trying this. They came up to Winnfield and wanted to support them for sure. Tacos were the best ones we’ve had here. Definitely worth it. Non stop line and worth the wait. Pricing was a little confusing, tacos were 14$, carne asada chimichanga on the menu was 14$. But our total was 35$. I wouldn’t expect carne asada to add that much, initially i thought they said 30.05. Aside from that, definitely will go again if y’all come back!"
"Honestly, I had expectations after seeing these tacos on YT... The presentation was ok but the taste wasn't there enough for me. The birria was looser than I expected and wasn't as spicy as I would like it to be. I assumed it should have been more concentrated due to the 3 peppers every recipe has listed. Seemed more like stew IMO. Also, $14 is too much- maybe $12 total for pricing. It's was alright but I know y'all can do better!! Put some more umph in it! That means more seasoning x effort, respectively. Once that happens you guys will be a GEM for the town! Also, it's has a small dining spot outside. Safe option because it's located on two busy streets."
