"There needs to be competition. Brookshires has been in Newton for years and they are the only game in town. We shop there from time to time, but driving to an H-E-B or a Sam's Club is what we normally do because the prices are indeed cheaper and those stores have a larger, more diverse and better selection of what you need or want. I still find it shameful that Newton doesn't have atleast another grocery store chain. Competition matters, it always matters especially in small town rural USA."
