"Purchased a VooDoo king cake from Rao’s. This was the worst cake. Very dry, very little filling. No where near worth $35. Dry..Dry…Dry! Oh did I say dry. It’s like they ran out of ingredients. Never again!"
"We got breakfast croissants and coffee to go. The croissants were okay, and the coffee was a bit watered down. The cakes and cookies and other treats looked amazing though. If you are craving something sweet I would definitely recommend this place."
"I have recently moved to this area and told my daughter I wanted to try this bakery for her birthday. A very nice atmosphere greeted us as soon as we walked in. Amazing display and choices of in-house fresh Gelato, and the baked display was looking amazing. I choose the mini strawberry cheesecake and the blueberry bran muffin. The cheesecake was light and airy made New York style with no crust but surprisingly with a bit of sweet mascarpone cheese on the bottom and center of the cheesecake very nice touch!! Homemade whipped cream counters the mascarpone/cheesecake beautifully strawberries were sweet fresh and crisp. The blueberry bran muffin is a difficult one as the bran can be either gritty or dry. This muffin was the best I've had. I ate half that day and the rest in the morning. It was still moist not gritty at all and they did not skimp on blueberries. Service was good, they answered all questions with a smile, patient with us first-timers. overall a very good experience."
