"That baked chicken was everything! Seasoned to perfection. I would say that when getting neck bones, I need some of the juices from the pot! I’m pretty sure the plates are prepared that way to keep customers from spilling in their car, but it’s our jobs to put the plate, that’s in the bag, on the floorboard to ensure it’s level. Love the Togo plates, great quality! The people are nice and friendly, and service is pretty quick. I do, however, wish I could get regular sweet tea without lemonade… I mean it is good, their Arnold Palmer could rival Chick-Fil-A’s or even Raisin Cane’s, but sweet tea is just sweet tea, not half and half."

"The best thing on my plate was the mashed potatoes. The baked chicken was horrible. The yams were cold and tasted like they were fresh out of the can. Plz do better.... That was my first and last time eatting there."

"On my grandma grave the neckbone plate I ordered was unseasoned, washed up, and dry as heck. I had such a terrible order and it was over priced to expensive. I gave my plate from there to my dog. I mean my whole neckbone plate was plain as hell and it made me feel like I was at a famous unseasoned kitchen. I am highly disappointed in the food quality."

"Excellent soulfood place with rotating daily menus. Meatloaf was so thick my plastic fork could barely handle it; flavorful and juicy. Yams were tender but not mushy, and collards were fantastic. Came with a couple pieces of hot water cornbread with a good crunch on the outside but moist center. Everything was served nice and hot, service was very quick and friendly. Takeout only but with lots of covered patio seating. Worth a detour!"

"If you are in the area (or even remotely close...) this place is a must! Typical Ark-La-Tex sincere, sweet, and friendly service. We had the smothered pork chops, collard greens (best I’ve ever had and I love me some greens!) peas and okra, mashed potatoes, and peach cobbler. The food was nothing short of fantastic. Treat your self to Southern comfort food done right!"
