Jimmy's Seafood & Steak

"We went to eat Jimmy’s with our supper club, five couples, total of 10 people. Our server was excellent. Drinks were watered down. Food was not what you would expect from a “fine dining” establishment. My husband ordered a 14 ounce ribeye and it looked to be about 9 ounces and very thin. He asked for medium rare, and the steak was cooked well done. Just be aware, if you’re looking for a steakhouse similar to Jack Binion’s inside Horseshoe Casino, this is not it."

"Excellent food and service. The steaks were amazing and cooked to perfection as well as the seafood. The view of the river at sunset was a bonus. The table pedestals are very uncomfortable and force you to sit with your legs open and around it. Try asking for a booth so you more comfortably. We love this restaurant."

"Hated to give this restaurant a 3 star. I actually had high expectations for our date night here. We'd been here in the past, maybe 3 years prior. It was quite nice then. We initially had cocktails before dinner, and the bar was pretty decent. We had a very nice waitress (Lida) who was accommodating. We ordered, and once we received our food, the presentation was nice. I ordered stuffed chicken breast and could not wait to taste it. However, that soon turned into disappointment. The outside of the chicken breast was barely warm, and the inside stuffing was cold (refrigerator cold). Of course, I didn't eat it and elected not to order anything else. Sadly, i probably won't eat here again."

"Love this place! Steak is phenomenal and always cooked to perfect. Millie is the BEST waitress. So personable and attentive! Also, they have a new “salt boat” that has different flavors of salt and it’s amazing!!"

"I wouldn't say I'm a tourist because Louisiana is my second home but I've never spent much time in Shreveport. Decided to explore the city and ended up at Jimmy's for dinner. I had a great experience from the time the host greeted me until I left. Everyone is so friendly and some of them are very funny. The servers and waiters/waitresses make sure that you have everything you need. The manager is also great. The atmosphere is very nice and I enjoyed the music they had playing. I'll have to go back to try the steak."
