"Our first opportunity to check out this little cafe for lunch. Entering the front door, you had a full view of the restaurant straight to the back wall as it was shaped in a rectangle with the shorts side at the front and back. We seated ourselves in a booth while taking in the fishing decor. After studying the menu, I decided on fish and my husband on a "sashquach" sandwich. Durring our meal, we watched a young man wearing a baseball cap come to the counter from the kitchen several times to chat. While doing so, he would pick up his hat, scratch his head and return to cooking food, or hand out a plate without washing his hands! When I paid for our meal I asked to speak to Becky but the manager insisted on helping me and proceeded to say that I didn't know what I was talking about. I asked for her name so I could let Becky know who I talked to when I call. Then she was ready to let me talk to Becky, and she was there... I replied I will call her at my convenience thank you and left. ☆Afterwards, I found a 3.5% additional fee charged to my credit card that I was not told about or asked before I used my card to pay my bill."

"This was a phoned order/drive thru pick up for my Bornday. The food did not disappoint... as a matter of fact, it IMPRESSED! All I can say is "yum" for the cheeseburger (best in town)! It was flavorful, juicy, hand formed patties, all fresh vegetables (lettuce, onion, tomato, pickles) and oh yum... cooked just RIGHT! Go get yours. It won't disappoint... it will impress and satisfy."

"First time there, so didn't know what to expect. Liked the items on the menu. Ordered the 3 filet and fixings item with extra order of hushpuppies and a side of okra. Got 6 filets shown in pic below, okra also shown below. Food was good. Was expecting slaw but they gave me option of slaw or salad bar. I stayed with slaw. It was good. Fried okra was good and hot and stayed hot the whole meal and was a great portion for the price of $4.99. 2 hushpuppies came with meal which were size of the fried okra (see below next to fish filets) so hoped the side of puppies I ordered for $3.99 would have given me 4-5 more. But only gave me 2 more so not worth that price, but we're very good. It was just not worth that price for 2. Jalapeño corn hushpuppies nuggets are what these were. Had Sweet tea, but didn't have straws to fit the glasses and wanted me to piece 2 short straws together for a longer straw so didn't do that. Server was friendly and somewhat attentive. I've been told the chicken fried steak is a great item so I'll be back to give them another shot before I leave town. Overall, pretty good little hole in wall place."

"It's a small place. They are just getting set up. The food is excellent. Large portions and seasoned to perfection. Becky is the owner and she is friendly and helpful. I recommend either the chicken fried steak or fish."

"Everytime I go I have a hard time choosing chicken fried steak or catfish. They are both fried just right! The corn nuggets are really good. I like that I can call in my whole catfish order and it's ready when I get there!"
