"Pretty good food. Served on Styrofoam plate with plastic silverware, so not impressed with that, luckily the knife and fork were able to cut through the pork chops. Has a daily menu list versus choosing from a full selection of items each day. No desserts available. Ordered smothered pork chops with steamed cabbage, candied yams and cornbread. Was good."

"The food is good but served on plastic plates and utensils are also plastic. Although this is good for "to go" service, it's really not very acceptable for dine in. The food is plentiful but difficult to eat on the plastic plates or cut with the plastic utensils. The cornbread is served wrapped in plastic and difficult to open. Again acceptable for take out but not for dine in. Service is excellent and the food is very good-if you like "down home" cooking. I hope this place makes it because Marshall needs a good lunch place downtown."
