Even though they speak with very emotional people alllll day, they are ALWAYS so caring, patient, and compassionate. They offer a wide range of unique services and their business is really one of a kind. I live in Mount Vernon and when my Pixie Vicious passed, they picked her up the same day (I did arrange it a day or two beforehand). I ordered several of their special services (I had some special requests that I was impressed they were able to make happen), so it took a little longer than normal to get her ashes back, but they were very communicative the entire time. Bobbie Ruth and Mary Jo obviously love animals and are passionate about their work- they want everything to be perfect for you. If I could give ten stars, I would. I also love that they do a yearly floating lantern ceremony on the second Sunday in September where anyone can purchase a lantern kit, decorate it, and push it afloat on the lake at night. The kit is only 20-something dollars. I read in an article that said that one reason that it is so difficult for humans to lose pets is because even though they tend to be “part of the family,” they aren’t usually mourned like humans are: no funeral or memorial service, no gatherings to celebrate their lives & share stories. These mourning rituals provide some closure for the living that are left behind. I’m so grateful to Radiant Heart for this event- after 9 weeks of deep grieving, this provided me with some much needed closure. I highly recommend participating. I will be every year "

"We were caught by surprise when the time came to say goodbye to our beloved, twenty-years-young Toulouse, and I cannot thank the Radiant Heart team enough for stepping in to handle her with grace and care as we worked through a difficult transition. Mary Jo was warm and caring on the phone, and Bobby Ruth was a comforting, kind presence during our brief interaction when picking up our beautiful heart box of fur clippings. The fur clippings were clearly done with love and care, and are a memento we treasure. We also received a complimentary packet with much-needed information about the grieving process which has been a great help. I was very pleased to learn about the eco-friendly water cremation (aquamation) process Radiant Heart offers, and a very informative video on the website put me at ease in understanding the care the team takes with the process and each animal.
