Reviews of Mill Creek Canyon Earthworks Park
"Nice little park with clean restrooms. If you follow the trail more than fifteen minutes back, you will run into homeless people with addiction issues. Besides that, it's a decent place for an afternoon walk."
"A good park that needs people to frequent it more often. The Canyon has hiking trails with many locations of interest that have historic meaning to Kent's past. There are a ton of various plants and trees, and a good stream that runs the length of the canyon and park."
"Year round this is a good park to go for a walk, whether it’s with your pet or someone else there’s always something to see, granted that on occasion you’ll see homeless and/or their encampments that are in the far back of the park in the forest. For those concerned of their safety, as a local who’s been around the park since birth there’s nothing to fear but personally it’s advised to not go beyond the field behind the pond. Other than that, have fun!"
"This is an interesting park with some unique circular ponds in the main area. There are also some impressive bridge and staircase structures. The paved trail ends and a narrow footpath continues all the way through the canyon. There are excellent views of the canyon and Mill Creek. The trail kind of just ends in an area with tons of dumped trash. It is mostly beautiful, but it is unfortunate that there is so much litter in certain areas."
"Cool little park in the middle of the hustle and bustle. A nice place to go lay in the grass on a nice day or walk the meandering paths to get away from a busy day and let your thoughts wander. Cool earth sculptures? Or shapes... Has a round / circle thing going on. Hidden places around bends in the path. I saw other reviews about sketchy people and trash. Park was relatively clean and there were some workers there cleaning up. I can see it being a place for addicts and homeless to hang out though. I probably wouldn't go at night."
