"Lots of space to park and fish (fisherman weren't catching anything today). Need a higher off the ground vehicle to be able to park ON the gravel bed. Lots of rock. Not much jasper/ agate here, but some really nice carbonized petrified wood mixed in with the gravel. River was too swift for swimming this time of year. Lost a star due to the fishing line all over, but we cleaned it up."

"I heard that this access point is the only boat launch on a river in Pierce Co....There is a 50 unit RV park next to it and along the water way of which many tenants enjoy access to also. Anyone visiting Weiss should take care where they park.... It is a regular occurrence for the RV park management to accuse unfamiliar drivers of soliciting narcotics."
