Reviews
"I love this park. I wish I had pictures, next time. But I often go there and look and listen to the beauty of the river."
"I agree with the review stating the poor condition of the park. People are dumping their fish here in the water at the swimming hole. It's too bad because this could be a nice park."
"Hathaway Park is one of my family's favorite parks, it has a little something for everyone no matter the season, or the age. I'll describe just a little, what everyone in my family appreciates about Hathaway Park. Number one the play grounds, swing sets in the sun as well as swing sets in the shade, plenty of climbing, and jumping options, though climbing the rocks are just as much fun as climbing the monkey bars, there is a baseball field, and the beautiful washougal River flowing along the lower part of the park. And the middle of Hathaway Park has a pickleball court and a small basketball court."
"During my recent visit to the park, I was disappointed to find it in a rather dirty state. Trash was scattered everywhere, creating an unsightly and unappealing environment for visitors. Additionally, the sight of dead fish along the river was distressing. It is disheartening to witness a park that fails to maintain cleanliness and preserve the natural beauty of its surroundings. Not only does it detract from the overall experience for visitors, but it also poses potential harm to the ecosystem and local wildlife. I strongly encourage the park management to address this issue promptly. Regular clean-ups, increased maintenance efforts, and properly disposing of waste can greatly enhance the park's overall appearance and ensure a more enjoyable atmosphere for everyone. I urge fellow park-goers to bring attention to these concerns. By expressing our disappointment and the need for improvement through platforms such as social media and review websites, we can collectively advocate for positive changes. Let's work together to emphasize the importance of maintaining clean and inviting parks that promote a harmonious relationship between visitors and nature. Ultimately, my hope is that the park management will take these concerns seriously and take the necessary steps to rectify the situation promptly. It is crucial that parks are well-maintained to provide a safe, welcoming, and visually appealing environment for all to enjoy."
"This is a wonderful park for kids of any age. My 1year old and 13 year old love this park. It the same wonderful park I enjoyed as a kid. The baby swings are made of the thick hard plastic and are really good swings."
