"Very sceren and free feeling place not far from town. Easy access, plenty of parking, up kept restrooms, no homeless or campers hanging around, found a few rocks, nice view of Mt. Good bike trails, picnic tables, it's pretty calming, not trash anywhere,"
"Love this safe place to walk. Large paved walking area, well lit, restrooms and an amazing view. You feel like you’re lost in nature but you’re close to town. This is a wonderful walk. Great exercise. You can even wander down the public dock if you want to be closer to the water. Fun in the summer or nice days to see families out with their little ones riding bikes or walking. I’ve even been lucky to find painted rocks here. There is a fun play area, kids can run, jump and climb. Several little trails that lead off from the paved trail. Wonderful signs to read about the history along the river. Parking lot is large. Park is clean and well-maintained. Thank you, Port!"
"Waterfront walkway - it’s a lovely park with mind blowing views of the George.. the walkpath is paved and straight, good for all ages. There’s a small picnic area, two parking lots and it’s dog friendly too!"
"A beautiful park and nice addition to the area. Thee park is is clean and well kept and the views of Mt. Hood are amazing. Pre Covid, we spent time here during 4th of July to watch the fireworks and it was pretty epic. The marina is just next to the park and the Puffin Cafe serves up some really good grub. You can fish here and stroll down to steamboat landing on the new trail that connects both areas. Real is a great place to relax and soak in the scenery. Sunrises here just can't be beat!"
"This is one of my favorite places to watch the sunset. There is a nice trail, too, with a playground not too far from the parking lot, but it is not at the parking lot, so you do have to walk a few minutes. But it is a beautiful trail, and it is paved and relatively flat. The trail also has some educational signs along the way. And there is a dirt trail that goes off the main paved walkway and down to the water. The waterfront park is ideal for group events, with a restroom, picnic tables, and paved walkways that are mostly flat, so it is wheelchair- and walker-friendly. On a clear day, you can get a beautiful view of Mt. Hood across the river. There are usually several species of birds to see, as well."
