"My spouse and I visit this tranquil spot when we need to calm ourselves out just unwind. The river surface can be wind-whipped or flat as glass while we look across the mile of water towards the Washington shore. Mount Adams can shine like a beacon or hide in the same color scheme as the foothills behind the tree lined Washington shore. Whether joined by others in their vehicles or by pedestrians out for a walk, the calmness is palpable at Pixie Park."
"I love this little park.. it's very relaxing and quiet. Lots of river activity to watch. So peaceful!"
"I love pixie park, I grew up in Columbia city and have endless memory's here, will always be one of my favorite little towns. It's a residential access beach thats part sand part beach rock once you get to the water, its usually pretty windy but never too busy and always kept clean. Great place to take toddlers β‘ there are usually wind surfers and a great place to watch ships if thats what you're into β‘"
"One of the most fun little parks in America. Great beach and the water is calm enough to swim or launch a small canoe or kayak. Rarely crowded and there are some nice tables here. We have gone to watch the boats and the kite surfers and just enjoyed a day together with family! We also have had the good fortune to see bald eagles and osprey hunting for fish. Although it is an environmental problem, we did see a massive 1500 pound Sea Lion gorging himself on a large Chinook salmon just off shore. That was pretty wild. Columbia City where the park is located, has a nice park and is a great place to ride bikes or walk. Pixie Park is a real treat and we always take our clients there when we are showing homes in the area. A fun place to check out!"
"Favorite little beach in Columbia county. Very calm & relaxing. And the view is something very special to me. . .NOW IF ONLY OTHER PPL COULD BE MORE RESPECTFUL OF THE BEACH & OTHER'S WHO GO TO IT AND NOT BREAK GLASS ALL OVER. AMONG OTHER ITEMS THAT DON'T BELONG IN THE SAND. Yeah. That be great."
