"It's a very nice dawn to dusk park. Usually well maintained ttrails, but wrote and erosion happens they keep the park natural and use wood for stairs and rails so don't be too critical and wear some boots cuz you're going to encounter some mud puddles or need the traction. a you can go up and down the hills off trail at your own peril if you choose and you see all kinds of different foliages, fungus, ferns, mosses, etc. varying upon the time of the year season amount of water. The flat ground grassy area where you would play Frisbee or play other type game can be sloppy in wet season, but it's all mind over matter. If you don't mind it don't matter. People around here do stuff and wet weather anyway because if you don't sometimes you just don't do anything then. So play catch, throw a Frisbee around just be ready for a little slippin' and slidin'. In the center there is a overed cooking facility with fireplace, restroom, drinking fountain on a cement slab free from worry of swampy grounds. Exterior and interior car parking lots (not big) w/additional SaniCan if rr is locked. It's popular, very rare that you're alone there drawing a diverse crowd from the community."
"This is a nice quiet park with a decent walking trail, though some is currently closed off. Sadly, people had left the remains of a Halloween party all over the seating area. Despite trashy people, it's a nice park"
"Very pretty and peaceful. There is a portable toilet there with toilet paper but no place to wash hands. There's a beautiful stream running along a path for walking and a large gazebo area with a spot for having a fire. Picnic tables and benches but not a whole bunch under the gazebo roof. Wonderful hiking trails and when I was walking my grandchild to the porta- potty, we looked in the stream and saw a sweet, chubby beaver!! What a beautiful spot. I didn't know it was there. There is also a play yard for kids."
"Rich in biodiversity and a wonderful place to get lost and admire the smaller things in life. I myself was amazed by how interconnected everything was, in that it was evident by mere observation. I greatly enjoyed the area and can see why so many others speak so highly of it. Simply beautiful!"
"Trails will be slippery when wet, but it's very beautiful and peaceful! The trail entrances do have quite a bit of skunk cabbage though, but past that there's not many of those smelly things. There's some interesting trees that are very cool, too. Sadly there's some litter around, I tried my best to clean up what I could but most of it were in nigh-impossible places to get to due to how wet it was."
