"Pros: Nice treed campsites with reasonably level tent sites. Ground is duff rather than dirt, sand, or gravel, so it doesn’t make a mess of your tent. Many of the tent sites are right next to the river, so water is easy to access, and it’s loud enough to drown out snoring tent-mates. If you walk to the vicinity of the outhouse for a nighttime pee, you’ll get an impressive view of the heavens when the moon isn’t overpowering them. Cons: Suitable tent sites are small, and roots make it tricky to position larger tents. Paths to some sites go right through the middle of others, so you’ll hear campers tromping through your camp while you’re trying to get to sleep. The river may be too loud for some sleepers. There are no flat rocks or log stumps to use as tables or stools."
